Best of the Neighborhood: Northside

This section will just be a list of all my favorite places to go in a certain neighborhood in Cincinnati. This post will focus on Northside. You can park and walk to all but one of these places (Comet).
How to get there:

  • Take I-75 north to the 1-74 exit (exit 4). Stay in the right lane and take the first exit once the highway begins (Elmore St./ Spring Grove Ave). Stay straight off the off-ramp to continue onto Powers St. Turn left at the first stop sign onto Spring Grove Ave. Veer left at the first light on Hamilton Ave.
Parking:
  • There is considerable parking in the lots with a green and purple Northside sign. Parking normally costs $0.50 per hour.
Restaurants:
  • Honey: casual fine dining restaurant with great food and service ($$$)
    • 4034 Hamilton Ave
  • Melt: serving sandwiches, paninis, and many others with many vegetarian friendly options ($)
    • 4165 Hamilton Ave

  • Comet: Mexican/Burrito restaurant with live music on the weekend ($)
    • 4579 Hamilton Ave
  • Bonomini Bakery: family owned bakery ($)
    • 1677 Blue Rock St.
